General Information

VMware Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use
VMware software is available to departments, students, faculty, and staff at an educational discount. If you do not see a product that you would like to purchase on our price list, please contact the MSU Computer Store for more information.
VMware Software-Departmental Use
VMware licenses may be purchased from the MSU Computer Store. Support MUST be purchased with all new licenses. For more information about VMware licenses, please contact the Site License Coordinator. These licenses are for departments only and are not returnable.

Installation Information

VMware Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use
Box copy products will come with a license, media and a code that you will need to activate your product. Insert the CD and follow the instructions on the screen.
VMware Software-Departmental Use
You will need to purchase a license to use VMware software. Your receipt is your proof of license. A download file and an activation code will be provided to you via email after your purchase.

Maintenance

VMware Box Copy Software-Departmental/Student/Personal Use
Support is not required.
VMware Software-Departmental Use
Support MUST be purchased with every new license that is purchased. You can choose from one, two, or three years and at levels of Gold (6 am to 6 pm, five days a week) and Platinum (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
