General Information

Michigan State University has an enterprise-wide site license agreement with Oracle. This license has support that expires on February 25, 2010 and all licenses purchased under this agreement must be renewed by that time. These licenses are for departments only and are not returnable. Oracle is licensed on a per server basis.

After you have purchased your license(s) you can go to metalink.oracle.com and sign up for access to support. Please contact the Site License Coordinator for more information.

Installation Information

  1. Purchase an Oracle license (annual renewal required). Your receipt is your proof of license. You will also be asked to sign a form explaining terms of use for Oracle on the MSU campus.
  2. Activation Code-No code is required to use Oracle.
  3. Media is provided as a download file from www.oracle.com
