Minitab Software-Departmental Use

General Information

Minitab software is available through a site license from the MSU Computer Store. Licenses are for use on university owned machines only. This is an annual license that expires July 31, 2010. All licenses must be renewed at that time. Licenses are limited to a total of 200 for the university and are granted to users on a first come first served basis. Once the 200 license quota is reached, no further licenses can be given until the next contract cycle. These licenses are not returnable.

Installation Information

Purchase a license for Minitab (annual renewal required).Your receipt is your proof of license.
Activation Code-Send the MAC address of your computer to cscodes@msu.edu. A license file will be sent to you via email within 24-48 hours of the request.

Finding your MAC address

Media-The media is included with the license-Insert the CD and follow the on screen instructions.

Upgrades

If you have a current and valid license, you may purchase any new versions of the software that are released.

Home Use Provision

A home use provision is not available.
