General Information

EndNote Box Copy Software-Departmental/Personal Use
Departments, students, faculty and staff are able to purchase EndNote box copy software. Customers will be limited to one copy of an individual product per calendar year.
EndNote Box Copy Software-Student Use
Students are able to purchase EndNote box copy software. There is a special version for students available at a substantial discount. Students will be limited to one copy of an individual product per calendar year.
EndNote Software-Departmental Use
EndNote X3 has only been released for Windows users. The Mac version will not be released until early September. Please check back with us later if you would like this version.

Departments are able to purchase EndNote licenses at volume discounts in packs of 5. For a single license, you will need to purchase the EndNote box copy product. Departments may also purchase Student Lab licenses at volume discounts. Please contact the Site License Coordinator if you would like 20 or more licenses. These licenses are for departments only and are not returnable.

Installation Information

The software comes in a box with everything you need to install and activate the software. Insert the CD and follow the on screen instructions.

The software comes in a box with everything you need to install and activate the software. Insert the CD and follow the on screen instructions.
EndNote Software-Departmental Use
  1. Purchase a license for EndNote. Your receipt is your proof of license.
  2. Activation Code-The product key will be supplied to you along with your media.
  3. Media will be provided with your license. Insert your CD and follow the instructions on the screen.

EndNote Software-Departmental Use
  • Home use is allowed with the departmental licenses. Users may install a second copy of the software on a home or portable computer as long as the copy is not used at the same time as the original.
  • Home use is not allowed with the student lab licenses.
